CPLA Launches Students for Education Reform (SFER) Branch

Students for Education Reform, a non-profit organized by students at Princeton University, is now a National organization advocating for the organization of college students reforming the education system. Recently, Emerson’s CPLA launched a sub-branch of SFER, which is now a nationally recognized chapter.

The group of active students continue to makes strides in the field of education by organizing up-and-coming events, such as an expert panel, a screening of Waiting for Superman, and a visit to a local charter school.

Two students, Erin Goodyear and Donovan Birch represented Emerson’s SFER chapter at the National Summit in New York City, Feb. 4-5.
