Trick or Teach

In celebration of Halloween, CPLA hosted our first ever Trick or Teach event! Located in the Beard Room, the event was an opportunity for various civic engagement groups and causes to come together in the Emerson community. Students had a chance to come check out the booths, snag some free candy, and most importantly, learn about how to get involved in various service opportunities in and outside of Emerson.

Some of the tables included: voter registration, Spare Change, LGBT advocacy, breast cancer awareness, and the non-partisan political engagement organization: No Limits. The event was an easy, accessible way for CPLA to inform the Emerson community of just how easy it is to get involved in our community!
