9/11 Vigil

On September 11th, 2011 CPLA held its 10th Annual 9/11 Vigil. One of the oldest and longest continually running vigils in the US, our event brought over 350 members of the Emerson and Boston community.

The night included remarks from Dr. Greg Payne, President Lee Pelton, and Sonia Tita Puopolo, Emerson alumni and author of the acclaimed book: Sonia’s Ring. Sonia’s mother passed away during the attacks and has played an active role in the vigil for the past ten years.

Thank you to everybody who attended the vigil. Your support not only contributed to the success of our event, but provided peace of mind for the many families affected by the tragedies.
